Kathryn
Kathryn Batty is the founder and owner of We Are Mindful, a role she has passionately grown since establishing the business in Cronulla, Sydney in 2018. Over the past seven years, We Are Mindful has evolved into a much loved boutique destination for curated women’s clothing, gifts, wellness products and mindful living.
Now based in Orange, NSW, Kathryn manages the store remotely while remaining closely involved in buying, creative direction and the overall vision of the business. We Are Mindful is something she is incredibly proud of and remains her greatest achievement.
Stepping back from the day to day has allowed Kathryn to challenge herself, expand into new opportunities and continue growing both personally and professionally, while placing full trust in the team she has built.
Her love for the business still centres around creating a space that feels thoughtful, considered and inspiring. From product selection to visual storytelling, every detail is approached with intention and care to create a calm and welcoming experience both online and in store.
When she’s not working, you’ll find Kathryn enjoying life in Orange, spending time with her cattle dog Billie or unwinding with a glass of wine.
For sizing reference, Kathryn is 169 cm tall and typically wears a size 8/S in clothing and a 25–26 in denim.
Rosie
Rosie is the Store Manager and Social Media & Marketing Manager at We Are Mindful, leading both the in store experience and the brand’s creative presence. Based in our Cronulla boutique, she oversees day to day operations while also managing content creation, social media and marketing across the brand.
What Rosie loves most about her role is the opportunity to connect with people, whether that’s welcoming customers in store or creating thoughtful and engaging storytelling online. With a love for effortless, timeless fashion and a strong eye for detail, she brings a calm and considered approach to every part of the We Are Mindful experience.
Working closely alongside founder Kathryn Batty, Rosie plays a key role in maintaining the warm atmosphere and thoughtful customer experience We Are Mindful is known for, while continuing to evolve the brand’s creative direction and online presence.
Outside of work, Rosie enjoys Pilates, discovering inspiring destinations, spending time with friends and unwinding with a glass of good wine.
For sizing reference, Rosie is 164 cm tall, wears an XS and gravitates towards a minimalist and elevated wardrobe.
Pixie
Pixie has been part of the We Are Mindful story since the very beginning, becoming the store’s first ever employee and a long time supporter of the brand as it evolved into the community it is today. Over the years, she has worn many hats within the business, from modelling collections and creating beautiful visual merchandising displays to helping shape the warm and welcoming atmosphere the store is known for.
Alongside her role at We Are Mindful, Pixie is also a talented florist and creative, previously running her own floral pop up space within the Cronulla boutique. With an effortless sense of style and a natural eye for aesthetics, she brings creativity, warmth and inspiration into every space she touches.
As a mum, creative and all round style guru, Pixie embodies the relaxed and thoughtful lifestyle at the heart of We Are Mindful. Her connection to the brand and community continues to be a special part of the store’s journey.
